The following link is a notice from Erie County Department of Public Works in regard to a pavement resurfacing project on Bailey Avenue between Grover Cleveland Highway and Sheridan Drive in the Town of Amherst. The Amherst Recycling and Waste Committee announces a free document shred event will be held from 9 AM to Noon Saturday, April 20 at BankOnBuffalo's East Amherst SMART Center, located at 827 Hopkins Road. Shred-it will have a truck on site to handle the destruction of papers. Limit is 2 boxes. Eventgoers are asked to bring non-perishable food items for Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
