As a part of the Imagine Amherst Project, the consultant Code Studio and other design professionals will be in Town from September 24 -28 for a "Charrette" week, which includes a series of workshops, presentations, and other events to gather input and ideas from the public. The Charrette will focus on designs and concepts using 6 existing commercial areas as example sites. These include: Eggertsville and Snyder, Main Street west of the Village of Williamsville, Northtown Plaza, Transit Road south of Main Street, and Getzville Plaza. The Charrette begins with a Hands-on Open Studio on Saturday morning September 24th. It promises to provide a great opportunity for you to discuss, visualize, and draw your thoughts on our commercial centers with other stakeholders and design professionals. This will serve as the basis for new plans for our commercial centers and corresponding zoning. Find out more information by clicking the document below or visiting the project website at www.imagineamherst.com
