To acquire a block party permit you must submit a Block Party Application to the Amherst Town Clerk's Office at least two (2) weeks before party date. Required information includes the street where the party will occur (including cross streets), the date, the day of the week, and the time. No block parties are permitted past 11:00 PM. Be sure to include a rain date. Also state the name, address, and phone number of the contact person. After approval, a permit will be sent. There is no fee for a Block Party Permit. |
