| Disabled Parking Permits |
To receive a disabled parking permit, an application form that has been filled out and signed by a physician or podiatrist must be filed at the Amherst Town Clerk's Office. Disabled parking permits are issued free of charge at the Amherst Town Clerk's Office and if you have the proper authorization, they can be issued while you wait. You must bring the applicant’s driver’s license (or if you are picking up the permit for someone else you must bring your own driver’s license and the applicant’s driver’s license). A permanent permit is valid for three years only. A new application must be filled out after the three-year period. Click here to download or print an application. |
