| Going Out of Business Sale |
To conduct a Going Out of Business Sale a fee of $500.00 must be submitted to the Amherst Town Clerk's Office. Also required are a complete inventory, a floor plan, a statement that no goods will be added to the inventory, a statement that no goods are on consignment, a statement that no goods listed in the inventory were the subject of a licensed sale conducted one year prior to the date of this application. The permit is valid for 30 days. Approximately $425.00 of the original deposit is refundable. To extend the permit for 30 days an additional $50.00 is required. |
