The Town of Amherst Records Center, at 500 Smith Road, East Amherst, New York 14051, houses approximately 5,000 cubic feet of inactive town records. The functions of the Record Center are administered through the Amherst Town Clerk's Office. In addition to the storage of records, an ongoing microfilming program is operated at both the Records Center and the Archives Center. |
