Mission Statement or Purpose
The charge to the committee is to represent Amherst in regional War of
1812 commemoration planning, develop a plan for Amherst’s participation, and advise the Town Board of any costs involved in Amherst’s participation. The War of 1812 Commemoration Committee shall explore tourism opportunities for Amherst associated with the War of 1812 commemoration. |
