The Amherst Wastewater Treatment Facility utilizes a software program for maintenance called MP-2. MP-2 is a computerized maintenance management system software application designed to control maintenance operations. MP-2 contains a database of equipment, inventory and work orders. Some of the basic functions include: tracking labor hours and costs for each task, creating records to track equipment maintenance and costs, scheduling tasks and work orders including preventative maintenance items, and creating inventory records. |
