Changes in Recycling Program

BFI (the Material Recovery Facility) can no longer take wax coated, wet strength cardboard. This includes all beverage container boxes and any wax coated boxes used to package frozen foods and dairy products. These items do not have any reuse nor can they be recycled. Bales of cardboard have been rejected and have had to be disposed of in landfills. Please make note of this change and to put these items in with your garbage.
