- Property Inventory Data
- Assessment Challenge instructions, forms, worksheets and information
- Property Tax information including payments and tax bill detail, and
- Online Mapping to locate properties in a dynamic environment
The Town of Amherst Department of Information Technology (IT) manages both local area networks (LAN) and a wide area network (WAN) in most municipal buildings. IT overseas hardware and software installations as well as a newly implemented telephone system. Other major functions performed by the IT staff include:
- email and internet access
- website development and maintenance
- application programming, and
- geographic information systems
