On June 20, 2011, the Amherst Town Board adopted Resolution 2011-577 and 2011-578 approving two separate agreements consolidating the Town's three Storm Water Drainage Districts and consolidating the Town's two Sanitary Sewer Districts. New York State General Municipal Law Article 17-A Section 751 provides that two or more local governmental entities may be consolidated into a single local governmental entity. The following information on the consolidations is being published pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law Article 17-A, Section 754.
