Snyder Fire District Annual Election

The Snyder Fire District will hold its Annual Election on December 9, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Snyder Fire Department, 4531 Main Street, Amherst, NY. Voters will elect one Fire Commissioner for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2026. All registered residents of the district as of November 17, 2025, are eligible to vote.

A proposition will also be on the ballot to amend the Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP) for volunteer firefighters, increasing the maximum monthly benefit from $800 to $1,500.
