Human Resources /  Voluntary Separation Incentive

NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY SEPARATION INCENTIVE 2026:

Eligible Employee: Employees potentially eligible for the Voluntary Separation Incentive will be identified and targeted based on job title, departmental needs and other relevant factors following consultation with the Department Head. Any employee considered for the incentive must have a minimum of ten (10) years of continuous service with the Town of Amherst.

The Voluntary Separation Incentive shall not be used in the calculation of any retirement benefit.

Please return all completed and signed documents included in the 2026 Employee Packet to the Town of Amherst Human Resources Office by the dates indicated on the agreement. Call the Human Resources Office if you have any questions.
