Amherst Police Internet Exchange Safe Zone.

Thinking about buying something online but afraid of a face-to-face exchange with a stranger?

The Amherst Police Department has an Internet Exchange Safe Zone location for just such meetups.

The zone consists of two designated parking spaces in the front parking lot at of police headquarters (500 John James Audubon Parkway) and a designated area inside the front lobby. Both of these are under 24-hour video surveillance.

Feel free to stop into the lobby and let one of our officers know that you will be conducting an internet exchange.
