Curb Cuts and Driveway Aprons

Any work done on your driveway at the road or any alteration to the dimension of your driveway at the road edges requires a Town of Amherst curb cut permit. This is at no cost to the resident. The purpose of the curb cut permit is to make sure the driveway apron is installed in a satisfactory manner and to make sure all expansion joints and other appurtenances are installed correctly according to specifications.
